Katagami is a sheet made with several sheets of mulberry paper glued together and waterproofed with persimmon tannin.
As we have not always reasons we want in our kimonos, obi, obiages, etc. have to try them. Especially for those cosplay kimono with designs typical of the character.
As this material can not be achieved outside of Japan, look for a substitute. A plastic sheet is an ideal material can be cut and is waterproof.
If we make a freehand design that is opaque or transparent no utmost importance. But if we trace it better you can see through the sheet.
Another option is to buy much easier acetate to print the design using a printer. Take a good look at acetate to be for your printer is the same thing injet a laser.
Then you need to choose a design that can be cut. The floating grounds require the use of a grid to support them and is not as easy to do. ^ ^
Look for a good cutting tool that is sharp. A utility knife or similar will be useful.
I have searched a bit and I think that is why I will sakura. But since I do not like what comes simply blot with a drawing program.
not think I can make the points but not erase that I am too lazy. ^ ^
Painting is something else, talk about it later.
