A kimono difficult. Making Your Own Katagami
This is a kimono a bit strange. It is not really blue, is purple and gray. No that does not come out that color in the camera.
Some would consider it quite horrible but I give him a chance. Total milestone and I have not much I can not dismiss.
The description omeshi I sold him silk and silk omeshi but nothing. Lightweight fabric is a synthetic fiber that is great for the summer. Not that I care too much, until the time comes cleaning ...
As the pattern is as it is, I find it difficult to combine. I can always use a striped hanh. ^ ^
But just convinced me. As the design is wavy, stripes can not fit.

Katagami is a sheet made with several sheets of mulberry paper glued together and waterproofed with persimmon tannin.
As we have not always reasons we want in our kimonos, obi, obiages, etc. have to try them. Especially for those cosplay kimono with designs typical of the character.
As this material can not be achieved outside of Japan, look for a substitute. A plastic sheet is an ideal material can be cut and is waterproof.
